One of the first Community Colleges to implement Oracle Student Financial Planning (SFP), Lorain County Community College (LCCC) has selected Highstreet as their implementation partner for their Oracle SFP project.

Lorain County Community College is a public community college in the city of Elyria in Lorain County, Ohio, with learning centers in Wellington, North Ridgeville and Lorain. Founded in 1963, LCCC was the first community college in Ohio to have a permanent campus. LCCC serves more than 11,000 students each year while offering a variety of associates degrees and certificates as well as the ability for students to earn Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees on campus with the University Partnership.

LCCC is replacing their on premise PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, Financial Aid system with Oracle Student Financial Planning.

SFP Robbie Quote

Robbie de Leur, Ed. D, a 34-year financial aid veteran and Higher Education Practice Leader at Highstreet says this:

“Oracle’s Student Financial Planning (SFP) software is a game-changer in financial aid administration and a strong contributor to student enrollment and retention for an institution. With SFP, we are no longer tied to multi-step batch processes or manual intervention for every ISIR change or every time the student changes their schedule.  Students have much greater visibility into their application processing and can expedite the process by uploading documents required for verification or to view additional award requirements.  Overall, the product makes rapid changes, like those we’ve encountered lately due to COVID-19 and the new CARES Act Grants to offset our students’ financial hardships.  Additionally, the built-in micro-reconciliation feature makes the triad between the institution, COD, and G5 a simple process.  We are excited to be working with Lorain County Community College and contributing to their emphasis on student success!”

In February 2020, LCCC was awarded a National Honor for Improving Student Success by Achieving the Dream (ATD)1. It’s evident that Student Success is a top priority for LCCC and Highstreet is thankful to be the trusted partner for this implementation effort to assist Lorain County Community College as they continue to provide a superior student experience.
