The University of Kansas (KU) has taken a successful step towards moving their business applications to next-generation cloud applications by utilizing the services of Highstreet (Oracle Platinum Partner) to implement Oracle Cloud ERP.
Highstreet worked with KU to develop a comprehensive strategy to transform, integrate, and streamline core financial processes. Highstreet integrated Oracle Cloud ERP with KUs existing Oracle PeopleSoft Human Capital Management and PeopleSoft Campus Solutions applications. The new hybrid approach allows KU to improve their ability to deliver services, providing transparency to financial transactions, and reducing operational cost using modern technology.
“Highstreet’s strategy of leveraging Oracle Cloud ERP with our existing investments is the best for our University. Their specialization and background in Higher Education and Oracle applications proved invaluable in helping us integrate the cloud with our existing applications,” said Diane Goddard, KU’s vice provost for administration and finance.
“The University of Kansas has been a valued Highstreet partner for many years. We understand the demands users are placing on Universities and we were delighted to provide our expertise in helping KU through this journey,” commented Highstreet CEO, Greg Furst.
“Universities feel pressured to move to the cloud to meet the needs of the student and the belief that it is ‘all or nothing’ becomes overwhelming. Based on our expertise the journey to the cloud is a multi-step process as one size does not fit all,” concluded Henry Tran, Highstreet Executive Vice President and Practice Lead.
